High power test labs

Eaton's electrical high power test labs offer a wide range of testing capabilities for electrical distribution equipment engineering, development and certification purposes.

Electrical test services

Eaton's test labs perform a wide range of electrical tests including low- and medium-voltage current interruption, overload electrical and mechanical endurance, high current withstands, temperature rise, thermal calibration and magnetic calibration.

Tests are conducted per industry (UL, CSA, IEC, IEEE) or customer-supplied standards. Typical test samples include molded case circuit breakers, power circuit breakers, vacuum circuit breakers, contactors, low- and medium-voltage switchgear, bus duct, transformers and fuses.
